Is my donation tax deductible?
Unfortunately no. Since the donation is not being made directly to Wee Companions, and we are not a 501C organization it is not.
Why not send right to them then?
Donations in any form are encouraged by us! Either to help get these products to them to be used, or directly by you!
Why do you have so much stuff sitting around?
I ran a chinchilla supply store for a couple years and am getting all my remaining product cleared out.
Why not sell it and make money?
I thought about, I even posted some items on e-bay, but unfortunately everyone on e-bay wants everything for $0.99, instead of losing money or breaking even, I'd rather help a rescue full of previously neglected animals, rather than give some responsible pet owner a good deal.
What is in those boxes?
The boxes include a large variety of items from supplies to be used directly by animals such as wood parts, chews, fleece items, and healthy treats for various species, to items that can be used for general purposes in the rescue, such as bottles for medications, baggies for going home bags, and more.

About Wee Companions
Wee Companions Small Animal Adoption, Inc., is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit devoted to the rescue and care of guinea pigs, rats, hamsters, mice, chinchillas and other small exotics. Our top priority is finding permanent homes for unwanted animals. We are a completely volunteer organization, all monies raised go to the care of the animals.
Mission Statement:
Our mission is to rescue guinea pigs, rats, hamsters, and other small exotic mammals from shelters, places of abandonment, and from persons relinquishing their pets. Whenever possible, we offer a safe house to these animals, irrespective of age, temperament, or health status. These animals will receive veterinary care and socialization in the hopes that they will be placed in a "forever" home. Animals given Sanctuary Status will be placed in our Foster Care Network to live out their lives in comfort and with love. We are also focused on educating foster parents, school children and others on the care, feeding and prevention of unwanted litters of these animals.
