These photos were taken during dissection of animals that were put down for pre-existing health problems, the animals were not put down for the sole purpose of taking these photos.
Please note while looking at the photos and commentaries that when the right or left side is noted it refers to the right or left side of the animal, not the right or left side of the person viewing the photos.
I hope to continue to expand on this section as situations allow to help continue education and understanding of the gross anatomy of chinchillas for breeders and owners.
